Raiders sign T DJ Glaze, a third-round selection

HENDERSON, Nevada: T DJ Glaze, a third-round draft pick, has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, the team announced on Friday.

In the 2024 NFL Draft, Glaze, a 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman from Maryland, was chosen with the 77th overall choice. Glaze was a member of the Terrapins for four seasons (2020–23), appearing in forty games. In his final two seasons, he started every game (at left tackle and right tackle).

Glaze was a member of the offensive line that blocked for the Big Ten’s best passing attack (278.9 passing yards per game) and fourth-ranked overall offense (2023). Glaze started all 13 games at left tackle. In 2023, he was named to the Third Team of the Big Ten, and in 2022, he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten.

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Glaze attended West Mecklenburg High School. According to 247Sports.com, he was a three-star prospect and was chosen to the 2019 SoMECK First Team All-Conference.
