New York Giants add new offensive guard

With the addition of free agency offensive guard, the Giants may have struck gold.

Among the few NFL teams to forgo selecting an offensive lineman in the most recent draft was the New York Giants. Their track record of making significant investments in this area over the previous five years, while having one of the worst pass-blocking units in the league, played a big role in this choice.
To solve this problem, General Manager Joe Schoen decided to put money toward free agency in order to add players to the roster who could contribute right away, rather than using draft capital.
