EDMONTON, AB – OEG Sports & Entertainment revealed today the opening of a second Molson Hockey House in Scotiabank Fan Park’s ICE District for the 2024 Oilers Playoffs.

The new 30,000 square foot heated tent will open on April 24 ahead of Game 2 of the Oilers first-round playoff series. It will include two enormous surround-sound screens, plenty of table and seating areas, a wide selection of food and drink options, DJ entertainment, giveaways of prizes, Oilers alumni, Hunter, the Orange & Blue Ice Crew, and many more special guests and festivities.

“Nothing compares to the energy and excitement of ICE District during the playoffs, whether it’s inside Rogers Place and Ford Hall or outside in ICE District Plaza and Fan Park,” stated Stu Ballantyne, President and Chief Operating Officer, Rogers Place and ICE District. We are thrilled to add yet another location for Oil Country residents to get together and support their team, and we can’t wait to welcome the NHL’s greatest supporters to Scotiabank Fan Park’s brand-new, heated, and weather-protected Molson Hockey House experience. Come on, Oilers!”

The new Molson Hockey House tent and Scotiabank Fan Park doors open on April 24 at 6:30 p.m. Puck drop for Game 2 is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. Fans should arrive early to ensure a position since space is limited despite the free admission. All ages of fans are welcome.

Two hours prior to Game 2 puck drop, the original Molson Hockey House, which is housed in Ford Hall at Rogers Place, will also be open. There is no cover fee and adults over the age of 18 are welcome.
