A former running back for the Tennessee Titans is taking part in the Steelers minicamp.
Nashville, Tennessee A former running back for the Tennessee Titans might be moving. The Pittsburgh Steelers minicamp is open to Jonathan Ward, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.

Ward is an Illinois native who stands 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 202 pounds. He played for Central Michigan University before signing as an undrafted free agent in 2022 to play in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals.
Ward has gained 69 yards through rushes, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. Along with that, he has 52 receiving yards from 42 games played with the Titans and Arizona Cardinals.

Ward participated in 14 games in his first campaign, mostly as a special teams player. He participated in 13 additional games for the Cardinals in 2021 and received more offensive playing time. In that time, he grabbed three of four receptions for 34 yards and carried for 33 yards on nine carries.

Ward spent the majority of his first two seasons playing for the Arizona Cardinals, then alternated between the main roster and the practice squad. Last season, he participated in seven games with the Titans. Ward gained 11 yards on three carries.

Ward is especially valuable on special teams. He has made 16 special teams tackles.
