GREAT NEWS: Crosby, Stills & Nash Announce Their Highly Anticipated New Album, Echoes & Horizons, Set for Release This Fall

 

After nearly three decades without a new studio album, legendary folk-rock trio Crosby, Stills & Nash have shocked and delighted fans by announcing their first full-length record since 1994’s After the Storm. The album, titled Echoes & Horizons, is set to release on October 18, 2025, and promises a return to the group’s signature harmonies, poetic lyricism, and socially conscious themes.

 

The Journey Back to the Studio

 

In a surprise press conference at New York’s Electric Lady Studios, Graham Nash, appearing alongside longtime collaborator Stephen Stills, spoke about how the album came to life. “It started with a phone call,” Nash said, smiling. “Stephen called me out of the blue and said, ‘Let’s make one more.’ And, of course, I said yes.”

 

The absence of David Crosby, who passed away in 2023, loomed over the project. However, the duo revealed that Echoes & Horizons will feature Crosby’s vocals, pulled from archival recordings and unfinished demos. “David’s voice was too beautiful, too important to leave behind,” Stills explained. “We found these old tapes, and it was like he was in the room with us. We had to finish what we started.”

 

What to Expect from Echoes & Horizons

 

Early reports suggest that the album will feature a mix of new compositions and reimagined songs from their past, including a haunting, never-before-released track titled “Midnight on Laurel Canyon”, which Crosby originally wrote in the early ‘70s. Other confirmed songs include “Long Road to Nowhere”, a reflection on the state of modern politics, and “Golden Summer”, a nostalgic look back at the group’s early days.

 

Renowned producer Rick Rubin was brought in to guide the project, helping craft a sound that stays true to CSN’s roots while embracing modern recording techniques. “This album isn’t just about nostalgia,” Rubin said. “It’s about legacy. It’s about proving that real music—real harmonies—still matter.”

 

The Return of a Legacy

 

To celebrate the release, Crosby, Stills & Nash will embark on a tribute tour, featuring guest appearances from artists like Brandi Carlile and Neil Young. The tour, titled One Last Song, kicks off in November at the Hollywood Bowl.
