Spiritual Groundbreaking Moment: T.D. Jakes Appoints Daughter and Son-in-Law to Prominent Leadership Roles at Potter’s…

Bishop T.D. Jakes appointed his daughter Sarah Jakes Roberts and her husband Touré Roberts as the first assistant pastors at The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas.

At a unique 27th anniversary ceremony on Sunday, Jakes, 66, officially placed the couple, along with other present church ministers who were given new roles, on the stage in front of the gathered church members.

“Prior to presenting you with the charge, I’d like to begin by mentioning that you may find it unexpected to be in this situation.” However, God does not exist. Jakes told the five people, “Before I created you in the womb, I already knew you.” “I appointed you.” Prior to any man being able to ordain, I had already ordained you. I made you holy. I distinguished you. I ensured that you didn’t belong anywhere else.

According to The Christian Post (CP), The Potter’s House appointed assistant pastors for the first time in almost thirty years.

Other church leaders were given new titles, alongside the appointment of the Robertses as assistant pastors.

Elder Frank Dyer, serving as the church’s COO, was additionally appointed as the executive pastor. According to the CP, he just fought against myelodysplastic syndrome, also known as “pre-leukemia.”

Jakes told Dyer that he realized he called during the enemy’s attack, and if Satan had succeeded, they would be mourning instead of celebrating.

Oscar Williams, a different church elder, was named as the dean for Worship Arts at Jakes Divinity School.

Dr. Oscar Williams, God’s chosen instrument for this specific moment. One of the most tumultuous, agonizing, resentful, and fortunate periods in your life. Your mother is somewhere above in the heavens, looking down from the balconies.
