Mike McCarthy Caught in a fight with Jerry Jones

This upcoming season may be a make-or-break year for a lot of people on this Dallas Cowboys team, including head coach Mike McCarthy.

McCarthy is in the final year of his contract. Many believe if he doesn’t get the Cowboys deep into the playoffs, he’ll be out of a job by this time next year.

However, according to reports, the feeling may be mutual and McCarthy is growing tired of owner Jerry Jones and his uncertainty about his future with the team.

Tyler Dunne of the publication Go Long said he spoke to a source who used to be associated with the Cowboys. That person said McCarthy is growing tired of Jones’ antics and his mistreatment of him handling the team.

“[McCarthy’s] doing it the best he can,” said a former Cowboys personnel man. “Some of the people I’ve talked to have said that he’s getting fed up with it a little bit.”

The source also spoke on quarterback Dak Prescott’s situation.

“It’s hard. I feel bad for Dak. I think Dak’s a really good quarterback who is capable of taking a team to the Super Bowl. He’s got to overcome a lot of things,” he said.

This year is critical for the franchise and many feel if the Cowboys don’t get it done Jerry will clean house and start over once again
