The Dallas Cowboys have struggled to find outstanding wideout talent in recent years, except from CeeDee Lamb. Although players like Jalen Tolbert and Brandin Cooks, to mention a few, are not inexperienced, it is undeniable that the Cowboys need to improve at this position if they intend to contend for a title in the upcoming campaign.

Treylon Burks, a former first-round selection of the Tennessee Titans, may be the source of this.

Although Burks is not a household name, he might be the lone receiver in Dallas’ receiving group. Burks has struggled to live up to the high expectations the Titans have of him, even after he was chosen with the 18th overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft. The former standout from Arkansas would benefit from a change of scenery at this stage of his career.
Logan Ulrich of NFL Trade Rumors claims that Dallas would be a suitable destination for the 24-year-old. He may want to pay attention to the relationship with club owner Jerry Jones, since Jones has a history of taking a chance on past first-round picks. Jones also attended the same university.

According to Ulrich, Burks would “add a little bit more of a physical, power-forward dynamic to Dallas’ wideout group” and “compete with Tolbert to start in three-receiver sets.”
Ulrich also notes that, should Burks unexpectedly become available on the trade market, the Cowboys will probably have some competition for him. The four other teams that are thought to be “best potential trade fits” for the 6-foot-2 wide receiver are the New York Jets, New York Giants, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints. If Dallas wants to sign Burks for the upcoming season, they may have to make a sizable offer.
